Avid mbox 2 mini drivers for mac

Digidesign Mbox 2 Driver Mac El Capitan.From my understanding the unix/linux kernel already has the drivers, so logically it should be plug and play for you as well, unless something changed.

However, when i used it with my ubuntu partition, it was plug-n-play. When i installed the windows drivers, it always made my computer crash. I bought a second hand mbox 2 6-7 months ago. Over the last couple of days I've installed OS X El Capitan 10.11 GM Candidate and any updates that were available up to Septemon a spare hard drive as I'm apart of the public beta program for El Capitan, and the results are not good if you. If you were considering upgrading you Mac OS X to El Capitan 10.11 I would deeply reconsider that if you are using an Mbox 2 related devices.
